During the third quarter of 2024, the horror game genre continued to captivate iOS users in Latin America. According to data from Sensor Tower, the top five horror games showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Identity V from NetEase Games saw fluctuating revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at about $19.9K in the last week of July. Downloads for the game showed a downward trend, starting at around 740 and decreasing to 527 by the end of September. Meanwhile, weekly active users started strong at 12.6K and ended slightly lower at 12K.

Dead by Daylight Mobile by Behaviour Interactive Inc. maintained a consistent presence, with revenue peaking at $5.6K in mid-July and again at $5.5K in mid-August. Downloads started at 5.7K, with a slight decline to 4.6K by the end of the quarter. The game consistently engaged its audience with weekly active users hovering around 32K.

Mystery Matters from Playrix demonstrated a steady increase in revenue, reaching approximately $3.4K in late September. Initial downloads were relatively low at 314, dropping to 253 by the quarter's end. The game's weekly active users decreased from 2.9K at the start of July to 1.8K by the end of September.

Five Nights at Freddy's by CLICKTEAM LLC USA experienced stable revenue, with its highest reaching $1.3K in early July. Downloads were modest, starting at 281 and decreasing to 217 by the quarter's end. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 615 and dropping to 559 by the end of September.

Finally, Game of Vampires: Twilight Sun from Dream Plus showed revenue fluctuations, peaking at $2.2K in late July. Downloads saw a sharp decline from 1K at the beginning of the quarter to just 20 by the end. The game’s weekly active users also decreased from 2.5K to 947 over the period.
